The aim of the website is to create connections between talented Chinese students and professionals with an interest in Denmark, Danish universities and companies. Sino-Danish Network provides information about studying, working and living in Denmark as well as information on the Danish universities and companies registered in the network.
Sino-Danish Network is a portal run and administered by Innovation Centre Denmark, Shanghai in a partnership with Danish Agency of Universities and Internationalisation and the other Danish diplomatic missions in China: The Royal Danish Embassy in Beijing, The Danish Cultural Institute in Beijing, the Royal Danish General Consulates in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Shanghai and the Royal Danish Consulate in Chongqing.
The Alumni section is run by the Danish diplomatic missions around China, who provide events for establishing and promoting Sino-Danish alumni.
Innovation Centre Denmark, Shanghai, a diplomatic mission in China, is a joint initiative under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. Through consultancy and programs Innovation Centre Denmark facilitates the creation of knowledge bridges between Danish and Chinese companies and research institutions. The vision is to strengthen Danish knowledge and innovation through internationalization and develop the awareness of Denmark as a knowledge society.
Innovation Centre Denmark, Shanghai is one of four Danish Innovation Centers, the others are located respectively in Silicon Valley (USA), Munich (GER) and Hong Kong.
