What I like most in DTU is the academic atmosphere. We always extract a abstract model from concrete problem statements. This can enhance our ability of critical thinking which is important in current working area.
1. High reputation of the education in Denmark.
2. Enjoy the peaceful life in Denmark.
3. Beautiful scenery of Denmark.
The most interesting thing is the culture of Denmark. I found that all people here are kind hearted and always ready to help you when you need their help. Besides, the society is security and you need not worry about the security issue.
The education system is quite different from China. In Denmark, the lecture emphasizes on design and group work. As a far as I know, it is very unique in EU. Students here are often required to make a group and finish a project instead of writing an exam. I think this can not only enhance your writing skills but also cultivate our ability of group working.

The comfortable weather surprises me much. Before I come here, I think the weather of Denmark will be freezing. However, I find the weather is so cool rather than cold after I arrive. Although I take many down jackets, I never wear it.
It is very hard to find something I don’t like. If I am forced to point one, I would like to say that the report is over emphasized here. When we submit a project, the professor will not check the program. He only checks the report on which we put our design. I have to admit that the documentation plays an important role in the industry, but the program is even more important. Since our time is limited, we have to put more energy on report instead of implementing. I do hope the professor evaluates our program, so we can spend more energy on implementing.
When I arrived in Copenhagen at first time, I could not find the way to DTU. I was very nervous because I totally lost my way. I had to ask a grandpa how to get to DTU. After knowing my situation, the grandpa explained me how to get to Lyngby and how to go to DTU. Furthermore, he even waited the train with me. It is my first time to meet this situation, and I even didn’t know the name of that man. I really want to express my appreciation to him and it is my best experience in Denmark.
